Deferred Action is NOT the Dream Act

Obama’s Deferred Action IS NOT the Dream Act.  

Obama’s Deferred Action will:

• Allow you to have a Work permit,
• Social Security Number,
• Driver’s License
• May provide relief if you are currently in deportation proceedings.

Obama’s Deferred Action is not YET a path to Permanency Residency or Citizenship.

• Deferred Action is NOT a Permanency Residency  or a path to Permanency Residency
• Deferred Action t is NOT U.S. citizenship and doesn’t lead to citizenship
• Deferred Action will probably not allow you to travel abroad.
